These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Social Blob app and website (together, "Social Blob"). By downloading or using Social Blob, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
Social Blob is made by an individual developer ("we", "us"). This agreement is between you and us, not with Apple.
We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use Social Blob on Apple devices you own or control, in line with Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the "Apple Standard EULA"), which also applies to your use of the app. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, or redistribute the app except as permitted by law.
Social Blob is a light-hearted tool for noting and visualising how socially energised you feel. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical, psychological, or health advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Nothing in the app is a substitute for professional help. If you're struggling, please talk to a qualified professional.
Social Blob is not a crisis or emergency service. If you are in crisis, or you may be at risk of harming yourself or others, contact your local emergency number or a crisis hotline right away.
Social Blob is free to use. "Fully Charged" is an optional in-app purchase that unlocks extra features. It is offered as auto-renewable subscriptions (for example, monthly and yearly) and may also be offered as a one-time lifetime purchase.
Current prices and options are shown in the app and on the App Store at the time of purchase. All purchases are processed by Apple through your App Store account, and are subject to the App Store Terms of Service.
An auto-renewable subscription automatically renews at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. Your App Store account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends, at the price for your selected plan.
You can manage or cancel a subscription any time in the App Store: open the Settings app → tap your name → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for.
A lifetime purchase is a one-time payment that does not renew and is not billed again.
If a subscription includes a free trial, any unused portion of the trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, it converts to a paid subscription at the displayed price.
Purchases are handled by Apple, so refunds are governed by Apple's policies. We can't issue refunds directly. You can request one via reportaproblem.apple.com.
Notes, tags, and check-ins you create belong to you. They're stored on your device and, if you use iCloud, in your own iCloud account. We never see them. You're responsible for the content you add. See our Privacy Policy for how data is handled.
Please use Social Blob lawfully and don't attempt to disrupt, misuse, or gain unauthorised access to the app or its services.
Social Blob is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We don't guarantee the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will meet your particular needs.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Social Blob. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have that cannot be limited under the law that applies to you.
Apple is not responsible for Social Blob or its content, and has no obligation to provide support or maintenance for it. Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and may enforce them against you. Maintenance, support, and any product warranty are our responsibility, not Apple's, as further described in the Apple Standard EULA.
We may update Social Blob and these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the "last updated" date above. Continuing to use the app after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the developer's place of residence, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where the mandatory consumer-protection law of your own country gives you additional rights.
